Whiteboard Labs has years of experience developing custom applications, including RIAs (rich internet applications) that behave like desktop programs but function optimally online. We’ve completed several noteworthy RIA developments. Remember the first Flash-based reservation process that took place on one screen instead of several, slow-moving pages? Yeah, we didn’t think so. But that was us. That application changed the way the travel industry, in particular hotels, handled reservations from a customer standpoint. Our RIAs typically make complex things easy, as should any Rich Internet Application. Whiteboard Labs just makes sure that’s the case with our clients’ work.
Is your idea a RIA or a website? Chances are if there’s a need for interactivity on the site that isn’t a standard, or common, feature on other sites, then, yes, you want an RIA. Not to worry, we will help you better determine whether you need an RIA once we speak with you. Just get familiar with the term for now.
Some of our past RIAs include customized company intranets, an ERP (enterprise resource planning) system, a web-based graphic design tool for t-shirt ordering, and a web video message platform. These are just some of our projects. We’ve developed plenty more RIAs, but all you need to know is whatever you want done on the web, we can do it, have done it, or will have a really good reason why the web won’t let you do it.
