The Hanover Company, located in Houston, Texas, stands among the most active private real estate companies in the United States, specializing in the development of high quality multi-family residential properties across the nation, along with a recent expansion in Europe. When their internal processes hit a snag, WBL was there to help.

As companies grow, so does their paperwork. For the Hanover Company, it became too difficult to manage and organize the large number of documents related to their development projects around the world. Their Intranet lacked many features necessary to streamline and systematize their business operations; frustration set in, as the company felt ill-equipped to communicate well internally. Enter WBL.

Hanover asked our team to create a customized Intranet site that would assist them in managing documents for each of their specialized projects. The documents included in the site ranged from photos and plans, to data and financial reporting—with each of these aspects equally critical to the success of Hanover’s development, strategic growth and a development pipeline essential to forming synergistic partnerships. Initially, Hanover’s documents were owned and accessed by a variety of people both internally and externally. However, with WBL taking charge in developing a functional, effective Intranet site, we built a system that allows for true document sharing and positions management in such a way that each user only has access to the appropriate documents.
